What types of characters and services do you offer? We provide a wide range of characters. We have many princesses, fairies, seasonal characters, a few villains, and even Mrs. Mouse and our newly added Ms. Rachel experience. Most visits include interactive stories, singing, and dancing. We also offer face painting, parade appearances and more. 

How do I book a character? You can either fill out the form on our contact page, send us a message on Facebook, or send an email to seasideprincessparties@gmail.com. Let us know the date and location of your event, and which characters you are looking for. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

Are character visits just for birthday parties? No - we attend many birthday parties, but we can attend other types of celebrations and events. We have visited libraries, tea parties, fundraisers and town celebrations. We have also done birthday visits with just the birthday child and their family. We can make events of all sizes memorable and magical.

How many children can be in attendance for a party visit? We welcome everyone. However, if you have a large number of guests and only one character performer, and are looking for face painting, you may consider hiring a character assistant to help move things along. That way, we can stick to the time slot that you hired us for without going over. More than ten children should have two performers, whether that means two princesses or one princess and an assistant.

If we want the characters to stay longer, can we pay more that day and extend the party? No. When you book a party and pay the 50% deposit, that confirms the amount of time you are hiring us for. Sometimes we have more than one party in a day and need to take travel and prep time into account. Please plan accordingly. If you don't think an hour will be long enough for your event, think about adding time or additional characters ahead of time. 

If I want to hire princesses/characters for a birthday party, what age group do you recommend? Typically, 3-6 is the perfect age range. However, you know your child best. We have done visits for children 10 and up who still embrace the magic. We have also done visits for 1-2 year olds for the one on one time and photo opportunities.

What if there is a certain character I would like to hire, but I don't see them on your website? It all depends on the simplicity of the costume and the accuracy of the casting. At this time, we do not have any BIPOC performers.

What do you recommend if we want a performer, but we aren't looking for a specific character? You can still hire us! If you just want a children's entertainer to tell stories, sing songs, have a dance party and do face painting or crafts, we can do that. We also have generic fairy characters, or you can just hire face painters. If you are having a party with a certain theme, such as rainbows or superheroes, our face painters can paint based on that theme.
